Unique Team Experience
So last Friday I had the exciting opportunity to do a scooter tour in Cape Town. I joined a company from their team building day. We started on the lower slope of Lions Head, and after an instruction
brief by our guide “G” and photos from the Camera man “Prince” we set off!

I have to admit I did wonder if I had bitten off more than I could chew as I was very nervous. You scoot down a dirt track and at first it was very scary but I soon started enjoying my self as I gained confidence. G stopped often to explain what was coming up on the track, and to warn us when to use both brakes. Some of the girls on the tour did battle so I was quite proud of the fact that I seemed to manage ok. At the bottom of the track you do
scooting on the road that leads into Bo Kaap and that was a lot of fun.

At the bottom of the slope, we were met by the transport and loaded up for the next run on Table Mountain. I have to admit I preferred this run maybe because I was surer of myself, I went a bit faster and really had fun.
The scenery and views are stunning and it was just an awesome way to experience Table Mountain.
At the end of the run there is a jump you do, which I admit I did not do, but I will do it next time.
All in all a fantastic experience which I would highly recommend for a fun and adventurous tour.
This is an activity that can be enjoyed by families who are looking for a way to experience Table Mountain or can just as much be enjoyed by corporate companies on a teambuild. I think it is a great way to do a teambuilding as the team get to know each other in a unique way outside the office.

Scootours also offer a variety of unique teambuilding options in Franschhoek and Stellenbosch.
