An exciting adventure awaits you high on the beautiful escarpment of the Lowveld.
Kaapsehoop Scootours offer the adventurous a fascinating downhill trip of 6 km on a Monster Mountain Scooter. The route follows the Battery Creek gorge along grasslands, through plantations and indigenous forest and past beautiful rock formations and streams.
The trip gets under way on a game viewer in the quaint village of Kaapsehoop. From there you travel all the way to a hill where the adventure really starts. On the way you may definitely come across the wild horses that have roamed freely in these mountains for more than 120 years. On the way down you travel for more or less 6 kilometers, while dropping almost 400 meters in altitude. At the end of the route, at Battery Creek, there is a beautiful rock pool where you can cool off.

These Swiss designed scooters are used in the Alps during the summer months when there is no snow on the slopes. All trips are guided. All scooters can handle one adult with a child passenger.
