Enjoy a scenic safari-style drive to the hilltops of a private 700ha farm, taking in the majestic views of the Cradle of Humankind. From up there, begin your descent on our MonsterRoller scooters as you follow our tracks specifically designed to make gravity work for you. Scootours is not an extreme activity but a unique, family- friendly way to experience nature, catering for children from 4 years old right up to adventurous grandparents! The tour consists of 2 separate tracks that offer different ride experiences and scenery. Our halfway stop is at the farm’s extraordinary dam in an old shale quarry.

You don’t need to be fit to enjoy Scootours either. The only skill you need is to be able to ride a bicycle. The maximum group size is 9 solo riders. While kids aged between 4 and 9 ride with an adult as scooter passengers, space is limited in the safari vehicle so when booking please provide full details of your group. Private group bookings can also be arranged.

Harties Scootours is conveniently located just outside of Johannesburg and Pretoria. The Leeuwenkloof farm on the R3 is a short distance from the R512 that travels to Hartbeespoort. Please note that bookings are essential to gain access to the venue.
